About Lorbrarian
Lorbrarian is an independent, unofficial reference library for the Disney Lorcana TCG: a catalogue of every printing, with rulings, legality and provenance, built the way a database is built rather than the way a wiki is written.
Principles
- Every fact has a source. Rulings, errata, legality changes and set facts carry the document they come from and the date it was read.
- One page per printing, one per card. A promo, a reprint and an enchanted version are different objects and get their own pages; the card concept page collects them.
- Official reveals only. Nothing appears here before Disney, Ravensburger or a creator they gave the reveal to has published it. No leaks, ever.
- Structured data first. Pages are generated from a canonical dataset; editorial notes attach to entity keys and never restate a number.
- Free and open. No accounts, no paywalls, no tracking. Bulk data and an API with the same rows follow in a later phase.
- Reference, not tools. No deck builder, collection tracker, prices or simulator.
Data
Card data is compiled from LorcanaJSON (MIT-licensed, English, French, German and Italian) and cross-verified against the Lorcast API. Where the two disagree, both values are kept and shown. Rulings are the official clarifications as carried upstream; the official Set Release Notes are ingested next. Legality follows the current Tournament Rules.
Naming
“Disney Lorcana” and “Disney Lorcana TCG” name the game and its products; “Lorcana” alone refers only to the realm in the game's story. Lorbrarian is not “official” anything.
Status
Phase 0: the catalogue skeleton. Coming next: card images, search, the Comprehensive Rules, products and promo provenance, organised-play history, characters, stories and artists.
